Poor to great in 5 days.

Ar first, we weren't impressed. The drinks were bad, the food was worse. We also had a small room without a view, two full beds on the small side and 5 of us staying. We paid the 1000+ to upgrade to a family suite at the palms. What a difference a room can make. Between that and finding the good bar (the one by the main pool at the Syn) and the better restaurants, life changed. Get the frozen daquiris and pina coladas. They even cooked up our fresh caught barracuda from our fishing adventure.

We enjoyed our first big family vacation at Grand Oasis Palm. The rooms were clean, location was great and close to Isla Mujeres ferry, lots of pools to choose from, and decent dining options. The beach area was nice too. The lines were long at the buffets and bars and limited kid-friendly food choices but we had a Miguel as our server three times and he went above and beyond for us. Miguel was able to get us seated quickly and he was able to get my picky kids quesadillas and rice. He had the best service. Overall we had a great time and would come back again.

Very good hotel at low cost

The hotel is very good, the food rich, the problem sometimes lines and at the beach be early to reach bedside, breakfast is where you have to wait longer

Excellent restaurant AKERU on the grounds of the Grand OasisPalm

Wonderful hotel, very polite and attentive staff. Of all the restaurants I want to highlight AKERU, there was never a line, the girl greeted very kindly and escorted to the table. Waiters are ALL super attentive. Chefs are great at cooking beautiful dishes. Thank you all for this hard work for us 💖💖💖 Brian Eladio Víctor muchísimas gracias ☺️

Acceptable but could improve

The hotel is fine for the price we paid, what disappointed me the most was the treatment of the majority of the staff, as without wanting to attend or with annoying face, the rooms were fine. Another detail is the lines to enter the remaining mainly for breakfast or dinner, we waited almost 1 hour.

It was really great stay

We would like to warmly thank Mankar Vazquez for his professionalism and kindness. Following a small misunderstanding, he was able to listen, responsive and very involved so that everything went as well as possible. Thanks to him, our stay went very well in the end, and we were able to enjoy it serenely. The hotel also offers an incredible view, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Grand Oasis Palm Cancun

We stayed at Grand Oasis Palm from 24/12 to 01/01, in a family (2 adults and 2 teenagers), in the all inclusive regime, in the Standard Limited View room. Overall, the experience was positive, especially for those who travel with family and seek practicality. Positive points: Organized check-in and no major delays, even during high season. Good structure for families, with lively atmosphere and festive climate, especially at Christmas and Revival. Varied food within the hotel's proposal, with emphasis on the Christmas dinner. Nice location, with quiet beach and more calm sea, ideal for children and teenagers. Careful and helpful staff when we need support with logistics and information. Points of attention: Somewhat compact rooms for families with teenagers, requiring adaptation and organization. Intense fight for seats on the beach and pool: to get a seat, it is necessary to arrive very early (around 5am). After 8:00, there is virtually no availability. Hotel quite crowded in this period, which impacts queues in some restaurants and common areas. Environmental tax collection at check-in, which could be more clearly informed in advance. Final summary: The Grand Oasis Palm is a good choice for families who prioritize location, structure and all inclusive, especially on holiday dates. Despite some points of improvement, mainly related to the crowding and logistics of the common areas, we had a pleasant stay and with good memories in Cancún. We recommend, especially for those who travel with children and teenagers and understand the dynamics of large hotels in high season.

Three Star Resort with Five Star Staff

This was my second time at the Grand Oasis Palm in Cancun. Having had a fair amount of experience in the Cancun and the Mayan Riviera all the way to Tulum, I write this review with that experience in mind. While by facilities alone, I would call the Grand Oasis Palm only a three star, there were five star elements to it. The staff at this resort were amazing, going out of their way to make us feel warmly welcomed and saw to any needs we had with the highest level of professionalism. This positive comment applies to all the staff from the beach bar, reception, serving staff and others who worked tirelessly, doing their best to make the vacationing experience as best possible. As for food service, I will only comment on the buffet that had a large selection of well prepared and presented dishes to choose from. The soups were outstanding and the variety of sushi was surprisingly good. The facility is a little weathered overall where it is overdue for renovations. The resort needs a lobby bar. Once the rain pounds, there is only one other day time bar on the Oasis side to get beverages (other than table service at the restaurants). The sports bar is limited in both size and drink selection. The busy beach bar is wonderful, but it definitely needs an additional bartender, or two. I do recommend the Grand Oasis Palm in Cancun as a budget friendly, all inclusive resort but I do see this facility as a three star with five star staff and four star buffet, therefore overall, I selected four stars for this review.
